in the field work and post-processing in one workshop


A cutting-edge single day workshop that focuses on using your existing camera equipment to shoot outdoor scenes specifically with digital post-processing in mind.
We look at the practical techniques involved in shooting RAW format, HDR imaging, panoramic imaging and also explore tricks for digitally post-processing our landscape work for stunning results. The workshop is split into a 1/2 day outdoor practical sessions followed by 1/2 day computer-based post-processing session.
The day starts with a short instructional presentation including digital camera set-up advice and creative considerations, followed by a session practicing digital imaging techniques outdoors with rotating one-to-one tuition. In the second half of the day we look landscape specific post-processing on the computer, with a chance for participants to process some of their own images from the morning session.
The level of complexity and detail is modified suit the requirements of the participants enrolled.

Workshop Locations
Digital Landscape photography workshops take place in the picturesque Vale of Clwyd, north wales, with the post-processing session at David’s studio near Ruthin. Alternative locations are possible on request.
